"BACS is the leading provider of recovery-oriented behavioral health services. We operate the largest program to end homelessness in the Bay Area, which sees more than 80% of participants go in to permanent housing"

Many of the homeless individuals I met hung out at BACS during the day; they are one of the only facilities open the entire day during weekdays.

"We are a Christian faith-based, non-profit volunteer network and clearing-house specifically serving Fremont, Union City and Newark residents with various needs. We have personally served over 21,000 people in need representing all faiths, economic and ethnic groups"

The Compassion Network supports un-housed individuals with food and clothing distribution. Located in the heart of City Hall, the Network is a regular for many individuals I've met.
